The Buick Open.
Tiger Woods went 24 under and made 28 birdies to win the
Buick Open.
This was Tiger Woods PGA Tour's 50th win and improved to
21-for-21 when leading by more than one stroke after three
rounds.
When asked about his 50 wins "That's pretty cool to get to
50," Woods said. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think
I'd get to 50."
This was after Woods the previous weekend won The British
Open and is gearing up for a shot at his 12th pga tour
major.
Tiger Sunday:
He made four birdies on the front nine to build on the
two-shot lead he had at the start of the fourth round,
bogeyed the 12th hole, and took the lead for good at 13
when his approach landed close enough for a tap-in birdie.
At 15, Woods birdied again and gave him a two shot lead on
his way to a second Buick Open victory.
